LEH, Dec 3: A fascinating passing out parade was held today at the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre in Leh, marking the induction of 400 well-trained Agniveer recruits into the prestigious Ladakh Scouts Regiment.
The ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of military officers, civil dignitaries, and the parents of the new recruits. The Reviewing Officer urged the young soldiers to dedicate their lives to the service of the nation as proud soldiers of the Indian Army.
He extended congratulations to the parents for motivating their children to join the Regiment and commended the Ladakh Scouts personnel for their outstanding performance, exceptional valour, and sacrifice in upholding the sovereignty of Ladakh.
In his address, the Reviewing Officer encouraged the soldiers to continue striving for excellence and to uphold the values of the Indian Army, vowing to defend the nation’s sovereignty against all odds. Six young Agniveers were honored with medals for their outstanding performance during training. Gaurav Padaks were presented to the parents of recruits, marking a proud moment for the families who travelled from far-flung areas to witness the grand ceremony.
