Patanjali University gets NAAC’s A+ grade

JAMMU, Oct 7: Patanjali University has been awarded an A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with high marks. This varsity is among the leading Yoga Universities in the country in terms of points achieved.
After NAAC’s assessment results were declared, the university’s officials, teachers, and staff organized a congratulatory ceremony. The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Swami Ramdev stated that the establishment of Patanjali University aims to contribute towards a strong and self-reliant India. He mentioned that in this era of development, there is a need for capable young leaders who can positively impact society, confront the challenges of the future, and contribute to national progress. He added that the university’s educational activities aim to create leaders who not only lead at the national level but also globally, with deep-rooted Indian values.
Swami Ramdev expressed his views, stating that institutions in various fields of society can enhance capabilities but only education rooted in a national perspective can guide leadership effectively. Patanjali University has been created with this goal in mind. He emphasized that Yoga, Ayurveda, and the Swadeshi (self-reliance) movement have proven successful, and now Patanjali University, along with other Patanjali institutions like Gurukuls and Ayurveda Institutes, is contributing to the intellectual and leadership development of the youth, shaping them into globally-minded individuals grounded in Indian values.
He mentioned with satisfaction that Patanjali University, over the last 20 years, has established itself as a beacon in the field of Yoga education globally. He said the purpose of this University is to combine ancient Vedic knowledge with modern science, and to offer students a life of discipline rooted in both science and spirituality. This, he added, can help the youth understand India’s rich traditions and guide them towards holistic development, which is essential for building a self-reliant and prosperous India.
On this occasion, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Acharya Balkrishna also expressed his views, emphasizing the special objectives of Patanjali University. He mentioned that it is essential for everyone associated with the university to work in a united manner to strengthen the educational environment and the institution’s mission.
The Chairman of the Indian Education Board, Dr NP Singh (Retired), said that institutions like Patanjali University, adhering to Vedic standards, contribute towards producing individuals of strong character who can prove to be valuable for both the nation and the world
