HARIDWAR, July 21: Founder president of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Swami Ramdev has said that one should follow the footsteps of the ideal life of a true mentor to get success in life.
Addressing a function organised at Patanjali Wellness Centre here today to celebrate Guru Purnima, the Yog Guru said that the day is celebrated as an event to remember the glorious tradition of mentor-disciple relations, Rishi tradition and the tradition of Vedas in our country.
He further said that for varied reasons, different types of ideologies have now spread across the world and these have given rise to materialism, intellectual terrorism, religious terrorism, politics, economic terrorism, medical terrorism and educational terrorism and under all these circumstances the entire world is pining hopes on India.
“This has now elevated the status of our country as a Mentor Nation to guide the entire world towards progress and peace,” Ramdev continued.
He said that for achieving all such successes, the 100 crore followers of Sanatan Dharam should become real representatives of their Mentors and integrate their lives with Vedas, Yoga etc.
Patanjali Yogpeeth general secretary, Acharya Balkrishan prayed that the festival of Guru Purnima may bring piousness and welfare in our lives.
“Our devotional texts have called Guru to those great persons who train, teach and preach others for welfare, peace and progress,” he said.
On this occasion all the heads of different branches of Patanjali Yogpeeth, seers, students and others were also present.
