SRINAGAR, Oct 5: Commissioner Secretary Housing & Urban Development, Bipul Pathak today took a review meeting of Housing & Urban Development Department with the representatives of line departments.
Threadbare discussion was held on the issues related to centrally sponsored schemes/State plan scheme viz progress on Swach Bharat Mission, proposal for Bus Adds, progress on tenderizing works under different schemes runs by the H&UDD through line departments, service level plan under AMRUT, ongoing Sewerage schemes, Modern Aattoir, slaughter Houses, Restoration and functioning of Street lights in town and major cities, integrated Development projects like IHSDP/BSUP, identification of land for Solid Waste Management Products and illegal constructions and encroachments.
Mr. Pathak emphasized upon concerned departments to speed up the pace of developmental works in the state and directed all the officers for early redressal of the public grievances and take immediate action on District Development Board decisions.
He stressed upon the officers to discharge their duties with honesty and dedication so that pace of the development works shows positive results for the betterment of the common masses.
