RAMNAGAR, Apr 16: Ranbir Singh Pathania, ex-MLA and spokesperson of State BJP, called for a decisive struggle against politics of religion, caste, creed, money and muscle power.
“There are forces and multi millionaire, caste warlords who have amassed huge ill-begotten wealth and try to divert and distract public opinion by using extra – legal and below hand means which tends to defeat the very essence of democracy,” he said while addressing a series of meetings at Nagrota Panjgrain, Lehar, Parla Jophar, Gandhtop, Parla Chakal, Langa, Bassi, Garh Samnabanj.
Alleging that JKNPP and DSS were contesting elections just to edge for Congress, Mr Pathania said that people of the area have come to know about the true color and content of these leaders and no hollow chest beating and shedding crocodile tears would influence them. “This election shall determine the national mood of the country to those people who have remained in power for decades and decades and having failed to deliver, have now taken to novel habit of blowing trumpets of discrimination with Jammu and Dogras. Whereas fact remains that but for enjoying and lavishing power in higher echelons and citadels, these people have done least service to the cause of ‘Justice with Jammu and Dogras’,” he added.
While terming the fanfare and hullabaloo of these leaders as directionless and visionless, Mr Pathania said that their only aim seems is to wrest power by selling white lies and pipe dreams. “It looks as if these parties have been dumbstruck by the strong wave of development unleashed by the BJP led Central Government under the leadership of the charismatic Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said and added that Jammu has been bestowed with AIIMS, IIT, IIM, Devika Project, Udhampur Radio Station, Ring Road and Smart City project by the BJP led Central Government while the public friendly welfare measures have struck a chord with the people.
Mr Pathania was accompanied by Rajinder Sharma, Sham Lal, Shiv Charan, Bishan Dass (Mandal Pardhans), Capt Gopal Singh, Jagmohan Singh, Shonku Kharka, Kewal Parihar, Behari Lal, Capt Mohan Singh and others.
