JAMMU, Dec 11:Ranbir Singh Pathania, former MLA Ramnagar and spokesperson, J&K BJP, today called on Lt. Governor, G. C. Murmu, at Raj Bhawan, here. While congratulating LG-led administration of having initiated revolutionary reforms and zealous administrative measures in the UT of J & K post 31st October, he sought the attention of LG towards burning issues concerning the area of Ramnagar.
Pathania canvassed for immediate take-over of Sri Chountra Mata and Sri Pingla Mata temples by S.M.V.D. Shrine Board in line with assurance given by the Government on the floor of the Assembly on 27-06-2016. He further sought making of adequate provisions for ‘Koli’ community to get the benefit of ST reservation on the analogy of ‘Sippis’. He called for expediting pending forest clearances 20 roads of Ramnagar Assembly segment which has hampered development in the area and people of the area have been craving for road connectivity despite sanctioning of funds meant for these roads. He further sought formulation of a special package/ scheme for nurturing tourism potential of Ramnagar.
He sought National Highway from Sudh Mahadev upto Ramnagar (Roun Domel) so as to develop independent tourist destinations in Jammu region (Udhampur district). He also called for immediate repair of Roun-Ramnagar road, direct bridge from Majalta more to Majalta tehsil headquarters U/CRF, 52 meters bridge across Ujjh at Siameri laying of foot-bridges – Acrosss Ujh in Basantgarh area at Jhanju and Oru points, Badhole-Panjgrain, Beri foot-bridge at Sunetar, Foot bridge across Birnoo-Badhal villages, foot-bridge across Pattri (Johnu) to Beri (Kathil Ganju) and Kokani bridge at Latti, Kokani bridge at Pachound, state-of-art Conference Hall/VVIP Suite at Ramnagar, const. of road from Dessian to S.K Ber (Length-09 Km), road from Balpur to Babey Garh Samna Banj Km 6th to 14th (length 9Km), const. of road from Draman to Lakhote (Length 04.75 Km) Est. cost 898.29 lacs), road from Berrian (Chigla Balota) to Ujh Pull (Kathua) via Marta, Kulthian, Soan, Bardati, road from Sarail upto Siameri with motorable bridge across Ujh river.
He also sought installation of statue of Raja Ram Singh at Rani Park, Ramnagar, improvement-cum-state-of-art-upgradation of Floriculture Park at Mansar, improvement-cum-upgradation of Rani Park, Bus Stand, Ramnagar, completion of half-way left Bindraban Park Project at Ramnagar, start of work on Shaheed Rajeshwar Singh Park, Dehari, Ramnagar.
He was accompanied by Kewal Parihar, Chairman, BDC Basantgarh, Er Ajay Singh Jamwal, Mohan Lal Sharma, sarpanch, Joginder Kumar, President, CP Workers Association, Udhampur, Mohd Lateef Tak (father of martyr SI, Imran Tak).
