JAMMU, June 9: General secretary, Pradesh Youth Congress, RS Pathania demanded immediate attention of the administration towards development of Majalta and nearby villages.
Pathania held series of meeting at Majalta, Peuni, Kathil, Punna, Dhamma, SK Ber and Dehma villages and listened to the grievances of the people.
He demanded water-supply scheme at Kathil, start of work on Baga Chod tube-well, additional staff for ayurvedic dispensaries at Garh Pamasta and Peuni and starting work on approach road to ayurvedic dispensary besides various other roads in the aforesaid areas.
He also demanded sufficient electricity and water supply at Nakki, Sundla, Bharnara and other villages vis-à-vis medicare facilities.
Among others present were Raghubir Singh, Gopal Dass, Arjun Singh, Kuldip Kumar, Makhan Lal, Dr Pradip, Rattan Singh, Soul Singh, etc.
