RAMNAGAR, Dec 30: State BJP reiterated its demand for taking over of Sri Pingla and Sri Chountra Mata by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB). The demand was made by former MLA and BJP spokesman, Ranbir Singh Pathania while addressing largely attended public meetings at Kogarmarh, Blandh, Rang, Baryalta and Dheeran in Ramnagar Constituency today.
He further said that thousands of devotees visit each of these shrines every year but State has done least to provide adequate infrastructural facilities at these shrines which are an embodiment of devotion and beauty with lakhs of pilgrim paying obeisance every year.
He said developing these shrines will not only attract more pilgrims and offer State of art facilities over there, but at the same time, will also generate employment over there. He reiterated his focus on boosting pilgrimage tourism in Ramnagar & Majalta Tehsils which shall boost local employment as well provide exposure and development of the area. He vowed to provide road connectivity to the shrines of Pingla Mata, Chountara Mata and other shrines of the area where thousands of devotees visit every year. He called for developing Tamdyal and Shiv Gali temple as Centres of tourist attraction.
Pathania informed the people that a comprehensive bill in this regard was tabled by him on the floor of Assembly in response whereof the Government had promised take steps for take over of theses Shrines by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. He announced that work on macadamization of Plassan- Pinger, Pinger-Bainsta, Plassan-Rang and Rang-Blandh roads are going on in full swing. The work on Kougha-Pinger including motorable bridge at Kougha, Manwal-Pinger, Thial-Chountra Mata, Chountra Mata-Dheeran and Dhanu-Rang road will commence very soon while fulfilling the age old demand for metalled road connectivity in the area. He informed that he has sanctioned a road from Chountara Mata to Dheeran in phase I worth 12 crores and Phase II worth 08.68 crores.
He said that almost Rs 05.00 crores have been sanctioned for augmenting water supply
In Parli Dhar area for which work is also in progress in fullest speed. This apart a full fledged higher secondary at Rang and High schools at Thelay and Blandh shall come up very soon. An NTPHC at Pinger and Sub Center at Bainsta have been opened to supplement healthcare in hitherto neglected area.
