RAMNAGAR, Nov 1: MLA Ramnagar Ranbir Singh Pathania inaugurated and dedicated to public newly-fixed Community Development Block Headquarters of Chanunta-Dalsar block at Panjgrain, here today and also addressed a largely attended public function there.
The function in this regard marked a cultural programmes, drum-beating and distribution of sweets. Even as a new C D Block Chanunta-Dalsar was sanctioned, the headquarters of same had been fixed at Barmeen, which is not only at distance but outside the territorial jurisdiction of Dalsar-Chanunta Block. A large number of people as well as party cadres attended the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Pathania reiterated that development of hilly and backward areas has always been his priority. He announced Rs twenty lakh for creation of Sports Stadium at Panjgrain. He also announced boundary wall and additional rooms for HS Panjgrain and completion of incomplete building of Model HSS Chanunta. He directed to formulate case-files of upgradation of High School Panjgrain upto higher secondary level.
The MLA also announced immediate operationalisation of WSS Ser Manjla and completion of GSR at Kaisana. He called for immediate restoration of Panjgrain irrigation canal. He announced distribution of 100 solar lights, transformer at Gandala immediate macadamization of Johnu-Panjgrain road, bus service from Ramnagar to Udhampur via Johnu.
The MLA also inspected incomplete building of Model GHSS Chanunta and issued instructions for submitting a revised DPR for completion for the same. He also announced that next year’s session shall be housed in new block of GHCC Chanunta.
AC ( Dev) Udhampur, CEO Udhampur, BDOs of different blocks of Ramnagar constituency along with Technical Staff, officers of PWD, PDD, PHE, Agriculture and other allied departments accompanied the MLA.
