Pathania inaugurates newly constructed school building

UDHAMPUR, May 31: Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar, while conducting tour of his area took stock of various developmental activities and functioning of various departments. He inaugurated newly-constructed school buildings of High School Sulan, Middle School Prey, Middle School Badhal, Middle School Saloon, Middle School Kela and dedicated them to general public.
While addressing the people having assembled over there, he sensitized them about girls’ education. While emphasizing that only an educated girl can be a good wife, a good household-keeper and a good promoter of her family. He also called for cleanliness and sanitary conditions in schools. He also called for focus on lofty academic standards and modern techniques and practices in maintaining quality education in schools of the area.
After a detailed discussion on working of various departments, Mr. Pathania directed various departments to complete road-projects, buildings, public utilities, laying of electricity and drinking water lines within the stipulated time-period and further take to  task defaulting contractors for sticking to time-limits and make these developmental schemes and projects functional within the shortest possible time. He also announced a separate transformer and electricity poles at Dhara and separate roads under PMGSY from Kela to Dhara and Ladana to Pangyal-Dhara.
He also called for a separate road from Prey to Badhal. While taking to task PHE Department, he called for timely supply of clean water and formulation of projects for uncovered habitations and immediate plugging and restoration of shattered drinking water lines.
The officers of various departments and sarpanches, panches and prominent people of the area remained present during these meetings.
