RAMNAGAR, June 4: MLA Ramnagar, Ranbir Singh Pathania, today inaugurated work on Massal-Kanah road stage-2nd.
The work includes laying of RBM, protection work and black topping on this road. Pertinently this road was constructed about a decade back but due to non-initiation of stage-2nd work, the condition of road had worsened to such an extent that it had become virtually non-motorable.
While addressing the public, Pathania said, “Roads are lifeline of a developed nation and key-indicators of development. When he was elected as a Legislator, there was not even a single PMGSY road which was blacktopped but in his short stint, blacktopping work on more than half a score of roads has been done and they stand dedicated to the public while work on other roads (for blacktopping) is underway and shall be finalized very shortly.
Pathania also accompanied by District level and Tehsil level officers drawn from various departments addressed Janta-Darbars at Gaddeni, Chowki and Birnoo to provide on spot redressal of various grievances at the door step of people.
On spot instructions were issued to officers/officials to ensure regular drinking water and electricity to the public. Reacting to demands raised by public, Pathania announced tractor roads from Parsun to Ambli, Gadeni School to Sabbar, Birnu to Kaid and Chowki to Jasku. He further announced water GSR for Bansui and pipes for connecting/supplying drinking water from GSR at SC Basti Chowki. New ration depots were announced for Birnoo, Kanah, Tentha, Prey, Badhal and Surni.
Exhorting upon the officers to work with zeal and honesty, he reiterated his full support and cooperation so that public issues are resolved in a time bound manner and public don’t have to resort to protests and hartals.
Prominent among those present were Sham Lal (Mandal Pardhan, BJP), Raghbir Sharma, Kartar Chand, Jag Mohan Singh, Bikram Singh, Dina Nath, Mool Raj, Dev Raj and wide galaxy of local leaders and party representatives.
