Pathania promises improved road connectivity in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Mar 23: MLA Udhampur East Assembly segment, Ranbir Singh Pathania reaffirmed his commitment to improving road connectivity in Udhampur.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Roun to Sugar road under the C&T Plan, which was built at a cost of Rs 41.6 lakh, Pathania emphasized the importance of upgrading road infrastructure for rural development, economic growth, and public convenience.
During the event, a local delegation led by prominent citizens, including Joginder Sharma, Sehdev Singh, and Sham Singh, met with Pathania to raise key developmental concerns.
In response, the MLA Udhampur East assured them that expanding road networks is a top priority for the Government.
Pathania also welcomed the inclusion of the Vishal to Rehana (Talarna) bridge project across the Tawi River in the list of sanctioned projects under NABARD.
According to him, this bridge has been a long-standing demand of the local community, and the MLA expressed hope that the concerned authorities would ensure its timely construction, which would greatly benefit residents and commuters.
In the afternoon, Pathania attended the Prakash Utsav of Guru Nabha Das at Village Plaiter, Tehsil Majalta, where he spoke about the teachings of Guru Nabha Dass, focusing on selfless service, perseverance, and spiritual growth.
He encouraged the community to embrace these values and work for the welfare of the marginalized sections of society.
