UDHAMPUR, Sept 17 : BJP candidate Ranbir Singh Pathania today continued his election campaign in the various parts of his constituency and outlined his vision for a prosperous Udhampur East.
In this regard Pathania visited various locations, including Kali Mata Mandir Mand, Gole Tikri, Dhanori, Sounthan, Roun, Talmara, Thanoa, Jaganoo, Rathian, Kharooni, Fangial, Tikri, Battal, Balian and interacted with the people there.
Speaking on the occasion, Pathania highlighted key components of the BJP’s election manifesto focused on education, welfare, and economic development, aiming to uplift the community and enhance living standards for all residents of Udhampur East. One of the standout initiatives is the provision of tablets or laptops for students in remote areas, designed to bridge the digital divide and promote quality education. Additionally, college students will benefit from Rs 3,000 yearly travel allowance under the Pragati Shiksha Yojana, further encouraging participation in higher education.
He emphasized the BJP’s commitment to uprooting terrorism and holding those responsible accountable, assuring residents that safety and security remain top priorities. In alignment with their welfare programs, the BJP plans to provide two free cylinders per year under the Ujjwala scheme for women, as well as an annual financial assistance of Rs 18,000 to the eldest women in families.
Pathania assured residents of relief from outstanding electricity and water bills, alongside free electricity for families under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. This initiative will ensure clean drinking water through the ‘Har Ghar Nal Se Jal’ scheme.
“I am committed to turning Udhampur East into a model constituency for development and welfare,” he said and added that with the support of the people, we will implement these transformative policies that uphold the BJP’s vision for a thriving and secure community.
