UDHAMPUR, Mar 17: MLA Ramnagar, RS Pathania, while chairing a facilitative meeting of officers and members of Sri Mata Chountra Parbandhak Committee, Ramnagar, reviewed arrangements for Annual Yatra to Shri Chountra Mata Darbar and ‘Vishal Bhandara’ scheduled to be held on April 10.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Ramnagar, SDPO Ramnagar, BMO Ramnagar, and representatives of PDD, PHE Department, PWD, Transport Department and officer-bearers of SMCPC.
Pathania issued directions for creating a 24 X 7 control room at Ramnagar which shall be open for assistance/queries and logistic coordination for various departments /agencies throughout the Navratras. He also asked for deployment of sufficient passenger vehicles on all the three routes along-with fixation of fares for passenger vehicles.
The MLA directed immediate repairs of Kirmoo-Rang Blhand road, Sunater-Dhannu Rang Road and Thial-Chountra Mata Road. He also called for ensuring deployment of traffic police persons on Thial-Chountra Mata route to avoid traffic jams and proper parking.
Pathania asked PHE Department for making proper arrangements of drinking water in Holy darbar and en-route. He directed PDD to ensure uninterrupted electric supply during the Yatra, and installation of LT line towards Drabran form Holy Darbar and arrangement of 2 Gensets.
