RAMNAGAR, Dec 5: After conclusion of his extensive tour of Ramnagar Assembly segment and addressing largely-attended meetings at far-off locations, general secretary, Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC), R S Pathania, has sought formulation of lift-irrigation scheme at Ujh River in Ramnagar, which he alleged, will benefit Jofar, Lehar, Siameri, Plaei, Chigla Balota and other surrounding villages of Ramnagar.
Pathania said that it is biggest travesty of time and place that Kailash Kund flanking boundary of Ramnagar is originator of four main rivers – Tawi, Ujh, Oru & Basanter, with all these rivers passing through Ramnagar, but not even a single hydel or irrigation project has ever been planned or conceived by anybody, particularly those who had been raising hollow claims of developing Ramnagar as a model constituency.
