RAJOURI, Apr 18: The condition of road in front of Government PG College Rajouri raises the question on the quality of work done by Municipal Committee authorities in Rajouri.
Mostly the water logging in front of college creates problem for students as they have to wait for hours to cross the road. Choked drainage system in front of Post Graduate College and road filled with garbage, emitting foul smell is a routine affair. It is major health hazard and may give open invitation to the spread of an epidemic.
No one in the MC or District Administration thinks it necessary to clear the mess. The PWD looks at MC and the MC authorities pass on buck to the PWD officials at Rajouri, Hundreds of students of the college are forced to cross pool of water in front of the gate but from administration everyone ignoring this issue.
Students told that no one is looking towards this issue. Massive filth and garbage is usually seen lying in front gate of the College from where all the students as well as staff members enter college. No one is taking the responsibility to clear the blocked drainage system in front of PG College Rajouri, they alleged.
