JAMMU, June 21: Alleging failure of Public Health Engineering Deptt in providing adequate water supply to them, the residents of Surya Vihar ,Patta Bohri, TalabTillo Jammu, today felt constrained to come out of their houses and stated that due to callous approach of the PHE Department, they have been suffering and also their normal life is getting affected.
The residents further said it is very unfortunate that they have been facing hardships because of no sufficient drinking water supply in their area for the last many days, but no action has been taken by the PHE Department. They also alleged that the little supply of drinking water that is being supplied, contain mud which is unhygienic to the health of their families.
They appealed the J&K UT’s Lieutenant Governor, G.C.Murmu to direct the Jal Shakti Department authorities to permanently solve their drinking water problem at their earliest convenience.
