Patwar Association holds meet, highlights demands

JAMMU, Nov 6: All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association held a meeting under the chairmanship of its Provincial President Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai, in which all the district presidents of Jammu Province took part.
In the meeting, State President of the Association Raman Raj Sharma and State Secretary Kousar Niazi were invited as special guests.
The speakers appealed to the officers of Revenue Department to conduct the DPC of Girdawars and Patwaries without any delay.
While speaking, Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai appealed to the Government to stop direct recruitment of Naib Tehsildars, creation of posts of Girdawars in new administrative units, grade pay of 2013 batch of Patwaries, empowerment of revenue courts, meeting hall of Association in Jammu, etc.
He added that the Association will leave no stone unturned to get the demands redressed.
Raman Raj Sharma and Kousar Niazi also addressed the gathering.
