JAMMU, Mar 27: Special Judge Anti-Corruption (CBI Cases) Bala Jyoti has remanded Patwari Samba Varun Choudhary and Chowkidar Dayal Chand to judicial custody for a period of 13 days.
They were arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation under Prevention of Corruption Act while accepting bribe from the complainant. They were produced before the court under the custody of Investigating Officer Parshant Sharma, DySP.
After perusal of application and CD file, the court remanded both the accused to judicial custody for a period of 13 days with the direction to lodge them in District Jail Amphalla.
