UDHAMPUR, May 5: Patwari Halqa Muttal, Parvez Ahmed has been placed under suspension for allegedly using foul language against the Indian Army besides making other derogatory remarks on social media.
Action was taken by the Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Dr Piyush Singla after screen shots of the Patwari’s conversation on social media came into his notice.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Udhampur furnished an interim report in this regard and the Deputy Commissioner ordered suspension of the said Patwari with immediate effect.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Udhampur has been appointed as an enquiry officer to conduct indepth enquiry into the matter and furnish a detail report within a period of fortnight to Deputy Commissioner Udhampur for further action.
