UDHAMPUR, Oct 19: MLA Udhampur Assembly Constituency and former Minster, Pawan Gupta and MLA Chenani Assembly Constituency, Dina Nath Bhagat today kick started the black topping of road from Battal Balliyan to Round Domail Udhampur. In this connection a grand function was also held by the people in which a large no of locals were present. They danced to the tune of music and expressed their gratitude to both the MLAs.
Addressing the gathering Sarpanch Manmohan Raina expressed that the construction of this road including black topping was a long pending demand of the locals from decades but it is unfortunate that previous public representatives were never serious in this regard. He also complimented the two MLAs for their sincere efforts for the black topping of this road.
While addressing the people MLA Pawan Gupta disclosed that the road falls both in Udhampur and Chenani Assembly constituencies and we are bound to work for redressal of public grievances and it was due to our joint efforts that the blacktopping work of the road has been started.
