JAMMU, Feb 7: On Nirvan Diwas of Saint Kabir, a grand award giving function was organized by Akhil Bhartiya Kabir Mathh and Satguru Kabir Ashram Sewa Sansthan (Rajasthan) under the supervision of Bharat Bushan, Dr. Nanak Dass, ex-Member T-Board at Dr. Ambedkar International Center, New Delhi.
Pawan Verma a well-known theatre artist and young Dogri writer from Jammu brought laurels for J&K as he was awarded with Kabir Kohinoor Samman-2023 in Performing Arts (Theatre) category on this occasion.
The chief guest on the occasion was Sham Jaju, ex-national vice president BJP and key-note speaker was World Peace Ambassador, Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni Ji Maharaj, founder president, Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti, New Delhi.
Dr. Pareen Somani, Director London Skill Development Organization, United Kingdom; Padamshri Himmata Ram Bhambhu, Environmental Activist and Dr. Sourabh Panday, Vice Chancellor, Webastone Bible International University, Zimbabwe were special guests.
Pawan Verma belongs to Mubarak Mandi and he started his theatre journey from Natrang’s Theatre Camp in 2000 under the guidance of Padamshri Balwant Thakur. Having experience of more than 23 years in theatre he has acted in over 80 plays which were performed more than 700 times throughout the country and abroad.
