UDHAMPUR, June 13: MoS Finance and IT, Pawan Kumar Gupta held a public darbar at Dak bungalow, here today and listened to the general grievances of people of his constituency.
People from Khuduan Jib, Battal Ballian, Garnaie and Rathain brought into the minister’s notice the issue of irregular water supply and frequent leakage in pipes. The Minister issued on spot instructions to the functionaries of PHE Department to improve water supply and to plug leakage without further loss of time .
The Minister also gave telephonic instructions to X-En PHE Udhampur to ensure procurement of pipes, valves etc of good quality having ISI standard.
A deputation of village Seen Thakran called on the minister and raised demand of vehicle permit for the area. The Minister gave on spot instructions to ARTO Udhampur to issue permit for Seen Thakran road.
