KARGIL, Dec 13: The second service of Pawan Hans MI 17 Helicopter between Kargil and Srinagar has been started today and 27 passengers were lifted by it today which included 13 passengers from Kargil to Srinagar and 14 from Srinagar to Kargil.
The general public is satisfied with the start of this service as it will ease the issue of transportation during the winter season.
The beneficiaries have hailed the efforts of the LG Ladakh, R.K Mathur; CEC LAHDC Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan; DC Kargil, Baseer-ul-Haq Chowdhary and Liaison Officer, Mohammad Hassan.
A handout stated that anyone willing to avail the services can contact the Liaison Officer or Naib Tehsildar Kargil, Mohammad Hassan.
