UDHAMPUR, Jan 5: Under the chairmanship of Pawan Khajuria, who contested as an independent candidate from the Udhampur East Assembly constituency, an important meeting was held for discussion and planning for upcoming Panchayat and ULB elections.
Besides two DDC Members, Parikshit Singh and Amit Sharma, the meeting had the presence of several workers from various areas of the Udhampur district, including the East Assembly constituency.
During the meeting, a unanimous decision was taken to field independent candidates under the leadership of Pawan Khajuria and his team for all the upcoming elections in the district. Workers were urged to suggest and promote candidates with clean image and a strong track record of public service in their respective Panchayats and municipal wards to meet people’s expectations and serve them effectively.
Addressing the gathering, Pawan Khajuria and other speakers, emphasized that their goal is not merely to acquire positions but to remain committed to serving the people under all circumstances. They stressed upon the workers to select the best possible candidates, field them in elections, and work in unity to secure victory for as many candidates as possible.
