UDHAMPUR, Sept 16: Independent candidate from Udhampur East, Pawan Khajuria held election corner meetings in Ritti, Kupayrla, Rittikoti, Kuhnallah etc and sought support for his candidacy in the ensuing Assembly elections.
Khajuria was given rousing reception by locals in these localities and they assured him full support by casting their vote in his favour. They said the people of Udhampur East including men and women are with Khajuria and they will enmass vote for him to ensure his victory in the Assembly as he was subjected to injustice by the party despite being a devoted and dedicated activist of BJP since his student days.
Addressing the meetings the speakers said that Khajuria has the people’s mandate and he is their candidate and it is the duty of every voter of Udhampur East to ensure his victory now with huge margin.
Khajuria in his address sought people’s blessings and assured that if elected he will dedicate himself for the service of the people of his constituency. Maintaining that he has launched the battle for the cause of people of Udhampur, Khajuria said that his election to Assembly will be a signal that people of Udhampur East are not going to tolerate any sort of injustice and they will fight for their honour and dignity to their last breath.
“This election is not being fought by Pawan Khajuria but entire people of Udhampur East”, he said, adding “We all have to join hands to ensure the victory at hustings and take our Assembly segments to heights”.
He said that whatever issues facing the people of his constituency will be resolved by our collective efforts and make Udhampur East a Model constituency in the UT of J&K.
Khajuria said that people of Udhampur East are determined to seek justice for themselves by electing their own candidate in the ensuing poll and show they are determined to undo the injustice.
