JAMMU, Apr 25: MLA Udhampur Assembly Constituency Pawan Gupta kick-started the black topping of road from Jib to Thathi today.
A large number of people attended the function. While addressing the gathering local leader Sandeep Khajuria said that black topping on Jib Thathi road was a long pending demand of the people and it was fulfilled by the MLA and it was a commitment which he had made with the people during the elections.
In his address MLA Pawan Gupta said that all credit of his achievements goes to the public of Udhampur Assembly Constituency who have given their mandate to represent them in the Assembly of the State. He disclosed that his dream was to felicitate the people of Jib Thathi area with a strong network of roads.
He also disclosed that the construction and widening cost of this road is Rs 3.75 crore. He said that the construction work of link roads of Jib Thathi is underway worth of Rs 12.85 crore. He assured the people that he will make all his efforts for the historic development of Jib Thathi area for which people voted him block.
