Pawan kick starts construction work of Jib Thathi Road

UDHAMPUR, July 8: MLA Udhampur, Pawan Gupta, today fulfilled the long pending demand of 30, 000 people of Jib Thathi zone by kick starting the construction work of 65 km long Jib Thathi Road.
On the occasion, people highlighted several problems being faced by them which include slow construction work of road from Jib to Nimla, scarcity of drinking water in Ward No 5 (Mohalla Jib Panchayat), anomalies in BPL ration cards and distribution of wheat in place of grains in ration depots.
The people demanded construction of protection wall of Nursingh temple due to heavy landslide in Temple area and distribution of flour in place of wheat in ration depots.
The MLA assured the people that development of whole constituency is his main agenda and therefore, he has given necessary instructions to his Assembly in charge, Raj Kumar Bucha, to make contact with the authorities concerned in connection with other problems highlighted by them.
