Track Mark launches compostable bags

JAMMU, June 3: In a significant step towards environmental sustainability, Track Mark International-a leading manufacturer of innovative compostable packaging solutions since 2004, announced the launch of 100 per cent compostable bags approved by Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
In a press conference here today Pawan Kumar Shastri, MD Swastik Group of Industries and Hotels and Vinod Manchanda, Chairman Bhartiya Compostable Products Industry Association said: “These eco-friendly bags are set to transform the way we approach packaging, offering a viable alternative to traditional plastic bags that harm our planet.”
They claimed that Track Mark International compostable bags are tested by CIPET labs, which showed that these bags get decomposed within 180 days and become manure.
“With growing awareness about adverse effects of single-use plastics, Track Mark International has taken a bold stride towards providing a sustainable solution for our city,” Pawan Shastri maintained adding: “To launch 100 per cent compostable bags, Track Mark International is collaborating with Pawan Kumar Girdhari Lal Compostable Products, a sister concern of Swastik Group of Industries and Hotels, as the marketing business partner responsible for handling sales of Track Mark compostable carry bags.”
He also said that people in J&K market will now find compostable bags under the name of Pawan Kumar Girdhari Lal Compostable Products.
