Pawan re-elected president of JU Non-Teaching employees

JAMMU, Apr 26: Pawan Singh Bhau has been re-elected as president of Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union, elections of which were held yesterday.
Bhau defeated Subash C Raina by a huge margin of 361 votes. He secured 471 votes and was declared elected for the period 2018-2020.
Manoj Chouhan was declared elected as vice-president by defeating Vikram Thakyal by a margin of 66 votes while for the post of general secretary, Sham Lal Sharma was re-elected for the second term. He defeated Ravi Gupta by a margin of 131 votes.
Jarnail Singh was elected a joint secretary by defeating Subash Chander by a margin of 84 votes while for the post of organizing cum publicity secretary, Sanjeev Chadha was declared elected as he defeated Sumit Sharma with a huge margin of 344 votes.
Joginder Singh Bittu was elected as treasurer and he defeated Surinder Paul Sharma by a margin of 204 votes.
Gurmeet Singh, Gursharan Singh, Kewal Kumar, Komal Bakshi, Swarn Deep and Padamshri Padmani were elected as Executive members of the Union.
