Pawar asks Cong workers to gear up activities

BUDGAM, Feb 17: State president of Mahila Congress Indu Pawar (Ex-MLA) asked the party workers to gear up their activities in their respective areas.
Addressing Mahila Congress workers at Utligam in Beerwah today the Pradesh Mahila Congress chief said that Mahila workers of the party are equally important and they should come forward for strengthening the party.  She asked the women workers of the party to gear up their activities and take active part in the political activities.
She said that they are the core workers of the party and they should meet regularly to discuss the issues and problems which require immediate attention of the Government and administration. Congress is party of grass root workers and   Mahila workers are the party strength. She further said that people are appreciating policies of Congress party and Congress has agenda of secularism, brotherhood & development of all regions of State without any discrimination on caste, creed or regionalism basis.
Ms Pawar said that Congress has policies of peace and development of human values and is focusing on youth and all sections of society. She said the women as voters are vital members of society and also have a greater role to play for peace and development. Congress is the party which has leadership and capabilities to provide good governance and development of human values based on secularism and tolerance.
During the meeting the people of area listed their demands.  Those who spoke on the occasion included  Jawahira Akhtar, Azzi Begum,  Zahida and others.
