Pawar asks Cong workers to project public issues

SRINAGAR, Feb 19: President, Pradesh Mahila Congress and former MLA Indu Pawar has asked the party workers to reach out to the masses and project public issues.
Addressing a meeting of Congress workers at Jawahar Nagar in Srinagar, the State Mahila president of the party appealed the women activists of the party to maintain person to person contact in their respective areas. She asked the women workers to project issues of the people and take up the same with the local administration vigorously for their reddressal.
Ms Pawar further impressed upon the workers to meet regularly and maintain contact at grass root level to know the problems being faced by common masses. She said the party workers must strive for immediate solution to these problems.
She said that Congress Party is movement of people and has always been in the forefront for addressing issues of development and common facilities to everyone. She said the people are facing a lot of problem these days in the absence of a popular Government. The previous PDP-BJP Govt also failed to address basic issues of the people. She said Congress has no hidden agenda and our policies of secularism, brotherhood, equal development and providing employment to the educated and needy youth are time tested.
Ms Pawar said that Congress can provide a true secular and democratic governance where nobody will be discriminated and with no hidden agenda like other regional and National parties. She asked worker to come forward for strengthening the hands of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and PCC chief GA Mir.
