JAMMU, Sept 22: Intensifying the campaign in support of coalition candidate in the Jammu North Assembly segment, former MLA and JKPCC vice-president Indu Pawar convened a meeting of prominent Congress workers of different villages to mobilize support for NC-Congress joint candidate Ajay Sadhotra, who was also present in the meeting.
Prominent Congress workers from Kalri, Keran, Gari, Patoli, Bagani, Kerwanda, Purkhoo, Pakhian, Barnai, Bantalab, Kalakam, Kulean and Thathar villages attended the meeting and assured full support to coalition candidate Ajay Sadhotra.
She made an appeal to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to support the coalition candidates in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Pawar emphasized the importance of voting for the National Conference and Congress coalition candidates, citing the alliance’s potential to bring about socio-economic growth and betterment for all sections of society.
Pawar, who has worked tirelessly in the Jammu North Assembly constituency, acknowledged the party’s decision to allocate the seat to coalition partner National Conference. Demonstrating her loyalty to the party, she accepted the decision and urged others to do the same. Congress workers have already begun door-to-door campaigns in support of the coalition candidate, Ajay Sadhotra, with teams formed to intensify the efforts.
The Congress leader stressed that this alliance is crucial for protecting the rights and interests of the people. By voting for the coalition candidate, citizens will contribute to Jammu and Kashmir’s progress and welfare. Pawar’s appeal comes at a critical time, as the Assembly elections approach, and every vote counts in shaping the state’s future.
Former Minister and coalition candidate for Jammu North Assembly seat, Sadhotra said that victory of coalition candidates was a must to establish a stable and pro-people government in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that after the formation of the alliance in J&K, workers of Congress and National Conference are working jointly to ensure victory of coalition candidates.
