JAMMU, Aug 20: State President All J&K Kissan Sabha, Dr Ghani Sham Singh Charak has asked the BSNL authorities to pay rent & watch & ward charges for BTS sites of BSNL to the poor employees regularly.
In a statement issued here today he said these employees were not paid the rent for the last six months due to which they are suffering badly. They should be paid monthly rent as per agreement.
He said that they have to work day and night having so many responsibilities and have no time to visit the office of BSNL for salary & rent regularly.
It is injustice with these employees who have to work round the clock as their salary & rent is not being paid regularly in time to them.
Dr Charak appealed the Chief General Manager BSNL, J&K Circle & Principal General Manager BSNL Mobiles J&K State to personally intervene and redress the genuine grievances of these watch & ward employees of Mobile towers of the site without further delay.
