PCC asks Kamaal, Nazir to stop anti-Cong propaganda

JAMMU, Feb 8: PCC general secretary and chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma (MLC) has asked the National Conference leaders Dr Mustafa Kamaal (Ex-Minister) and Sheikh Nazir to stop vicious propaganda against Congress Party.
Reacting sharply to the vicious tirade launched by senior NC leaders against the Congress Party and Government of India for quite some time, Mr Sharma said that some leaders of the NC are conspiring to vitiate the atmosphere of peace and harmony in the State and weaken the present coalition. He alleged that party has been observing that top leadership of the NC has maintained criminal silence over the issue.
The spokesman further said that in order to seek political gain, these few leaders have started exploiting people in the name of seeking plebiscite etc and launched a false and malicious propaganda against the party. The Congress workers and leaders will not tolerate this and they have also strongly opposed any pre-poll alliance. The views of the party workers here will be conveyed to the party high command besides the utterances of these NC leaders for appropriate action.
Mr Sharma said that Congress is vibrant political force in all the three regions of the State and its is steadfast on the principles of secularism and for maintaining unity and integrity of the State and the nation.
