JAMMU, Oct 22: Caution-ing the people about the designs of communal and divisive forces to create wedge in the society on the religious and regional lines, PCC has said that the party is committed to the unity and integrity of the State with equitable development of its three regions and all parts of the State.
In a statement, PCC chief spokesman Ravinder Sharma said that Congress remains committed to defeat the designs of communal and divisive forces, who are out to disturb the social and secular fabric of the State by their ill-conceived designs by creating wedge in the society in the name of religions and regions, with the patronage of their mentors.
Ensuring the equitable development of three regions and all parts of the State with further devolution and decentralization of powers to the people in order to meet their respective urges and aspirations, is the key to deal with such mischievous and opportunist elements, who want to serve their own vested interests and the interests of their mentors by hatching conspiracies to divide the society. The people should see through the nefarious game plan of such elements and forces and remain united to defeat such designs, in order to maintain peace and harmony in the state, he added.
