PCC Cell decries Govt attitude towards relief migrants

JAMMU, May 17: PCC Migrant Cell, in its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of its president Hira Lal Pandita has expressed grave concern over the apathy of State and Central Governments towards the Displaced Pandits from Valley.
The meeting said that the present Government is totally callous towards the displaced people as it has deprived them of ration for last three months and this has happened for the first time in last 27 after their mass migration from Valley that these people have been denied ration for three months.
The meeting which was addressed by convener of the Party Ghulam Qadir Bhat, vice chairman M N Pandita, co-convener Shadi Lal Pandita and general secretary Chuni Lal Kandi warned agitation in case the ration was not released within days.
Ghulam Qadir while addressing the meeting questioned the BJP for its past claims and said that the Party has totally betrayed the hapless people after coming to power. He said how a Party can settle the other long standing demands of the community including their honourable and dignified rehabilitation in Valley when it can’t provide ration to them for last three months.
