PCC chief asks PDP, BJP to end stalemate over Govt formation

SRINAGAR, Jan 30:  Expressing concern over the present political crisis and chaotic situation existing in the absence of an elected Govt in the State, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC)  chief GA Mir has said that both BJP and PDP should end  stalemate over the Government formation.
Addressing political convention at Dooru in Anantnag today, the PCC president said that both  PDP and BJP can no longer befool the people like they have done prior to the formation of  Govt in the State. Both the parties should end the stalemate over Government formation.
Describing BJP- PDP responsible for present crisis, PCC chief said that the present stalemate is an another attempt by PDP- BJP to hoodwink the people.  Both coalition partners have let down the people with the sole aim to serve their political ends, resulting in, people in all the three regions are facing difficult situation.
Mr Mir lamented the fact that people of J&K State are the worst hit in absence of an elected Govt, for the fact, there is no one who can listen and address the issues concerning people in a best possible manner.
Referring to the shortage of basic amenities, PCC chief expressed his serious concern over the erratic supply of electricity and non availability of basic amenities during these days of harsh winter, he urged the administration to take measures for mitigating the sufferings of people, on war- footing.
While issuing appeal to the Party workers to gear up for the challenges the state is grappling with, Mir  exhorted the party cadre to get ready for the challenges of whatever nature. He said Congress feels that people of the State should not suffer due to the wrong policies of BJP and PDP.
