PCC chief urges admn to address people’s problems

ANANTNAG, Mar 10:  Pradesh Congress Committee president GA Mir  has urged upon the Governor’s Administration to address the concerns of the common people.
Mr Mir who was on three- day tour to Dooru constituency in Anantnag district visited various places including Mantpora, Larkipora Lokbhavan, Cheki-Wangund, Lower-Munda, Saidiwara etc,  and met the people and various  deputations in order to take stock of the issues, people are facing, in absence of the elected Government in the State. He was accompanied by senior Party leaders and workers.
The PCC chief was briefed by the people and deputations he met during his  tour about   the multiple issues they (people) are facing on account of non- availability of ration, electricity, lack of health care facilities, etc. They also apprised PCC chief about their apprehensions on account of losses to crops and orchards in view of continuous dry spell in the valley and sought remedial measures by the Administration in order to save their crops and orchards from the losses.
Mir  told the people that he is highly concerned about their issues  and development and would continue to fight for their resolution.
Assuring them Congress Party’s full support, PCC chief  reiterated Party’s resolve to strengthen the people and its commitment to remain steadfast in service of the people. He said that Congress is always at the  service of the  people and would continue to serve people to the best of its ability.
While seeking  resolution of the issues, PCC chief urged upon Governor Administration to address issues concerning people, in all the three regions of the State.
