JAMMU, Dec 24: An air of excitement and enthusiasm was witnessed in the premises of Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School (PCSSS), when the alumni members walked in for the Alumni Meet, here today.
The occasion was graced by alumni from all batches and from various parts of India and abroad along with their families.
The meet opened with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the principal of the school, Sr Rosamma and president of the Alumni Association, Poonam Kotwal.
A cultural bonanza was also put up by the school students, which mesmerized one and all. A special flavour was added to the meet with the alumni members grooving to the musical notes of DJ Barkha and the Rock Band. A lot of synergy was visible at the venue as all the members walked back in the memory lane, fondly remembering their school days.
In a great moment, the executive members of the Association and all Sisters partook in the cake cutting ceremony, significant of a long relationship.
As a token of their gratitude for their Alma Mater, the Alumni Association presented a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to the Principal of the School. Later the sponsors were felicitated by Sr Rosamma and the president of the Association, Poonam Kotwal.
