JAMMU, Sept 30: A deputation of PDD Diploma Engineers Association called on Principal Secretary PDD, Rajesh Parsad at the Civil Secretariat, here today and discussed with him issues of the cadre.
Led by the Association President Jaipal Sharma, the deputation discussed the issues like relaxation in qualifying bar from AE to AEE and then AEE to XEn. The Association urged the Principal Secretary to consider the case at par with their Degree Engineer counterparts.
The Association also demanded filling up vacant posts of Diploma Engineers at all levels, like JE to AE, AE to AEE and then AEE to XEn level. The Principal Secretary gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured to look into their demands.
