KISHTWAR, Mar 24: After getting no response from higher authorities over suspension revoke order of Superintendent Engineer and Executive Engineer, the Engineers Association Kishtwar supported by Employees Joint Action Committee and other organizations have started pen and tool down strike.
Large number of employees assembled here today and held protest against Power Development Department (PDD).
They alleged the suspension of SE and Xen as unfortunate and appealed to the higher authorities to revoke the suspension order or face the wrath of the employees.
While talking to media persons, Er Raj Kumar Badyal and Rafi Kichloo, District President, Employees Joint Action Committee have threatened to continue their protest and pen and tool down strike till higher authorities of PDD revokes the suspension order of the SE and Xen.
They threatened to protest in aggressive manner if their demand not redress at the earliest.
