SAMBA, Dec 24: A man was injured due to an electric shock while working at electric pole at Tapyal area of Ghagwal in district Samba near here, today.
According to the police, one person namely, Bittu Buniya who is working as laborer with PDD received electric shock while working on a pole at Tapyal Morh in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Ghagwal Police Station in district Samba, after he touched a live wire this afternoon. He received critical burn injuries and was shifted to Ghagwal Hospital with the assistance of people, after first aid at Ghagwal Hospital, the doctors referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
In this regard Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
