SRINAGAR, Aug 27: A PDD casual labourer was killed while another was injured at two different places in Budgam while repairing the electric lines.
Police said Lateef Ahmed Bhat, 25, son of Abdul Rashid of Soibugh, Budgam was electrocuted while repairing a transmission line. He was shifted to SMHS, Srinagar for treatment where he died. A case has been registered in this regard.
Another PDD daily wager Sajad Ahmed Khan son of Ghulam Hassan of Khanpora Khag received electric shock while repairing an electric transfer at village Sugan, Budgam. He was has been shifted to JVC Bemina Srinagar for treatment, police said.
