UDHAMPUR, Apr 16: A PDD Lineman died after he received severe electric shock while fixing power supply line at a pole in Ward number 2 at Barian, Dhar Road Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Madan Lal (45), son of Suram Chand of Sear Manjla in Ramnagar Tehsil, who was working a Lineman in PDD. He reportedly died on the spot
Meanwhile, in a road mishap, a 14-year old boy was hit by a minibus near Slathia Chowk. The victim, identified as Ankush Sharma (14), son of Suram Chand of village Talpard was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur and his condition was stated to be stable.
