JAMMU, Dec 28: The strike of PDD Need Based Casual Workers Union here today entered day 24.
These protesters today staged a sit-in protest at the office of Chief Engineer EM&RE.
They were raising slogans demanding release of their monthly wages from wage head.
Addressing the protesters, Akhil Sharma, Union President asked the authorities concerned to release their pending wages from wage head monthly. He also demanded implementation of SRO 381.
Prominent among those present in the protest were Sham Sharma, Bilal Bashir, Ab Gani, Saleem, Sajid, Daljeet, Gurmail, Ashish Verma, Kabir and Akhyar Chowdhary.
