JAMMU, June 25: A team of EM&RE Sub Division, Green Belt, Jammu, today conducted surprise inspection of consumers and disconnected illegal service lines, seized electric gadgets and registered FIRs against the defaulters for necessary action under J&K State Electricity Regulatory Act.
On the instruction of Xen P D Singh, the team headed by AEE Sardari Lal and comprising of AE Narotam Sharma, JEs and other line staff, inspected houses and flats in Channi Himmat, Deeli and adjoining areas wherein 28 KW unauthorized load was regularized.
Moreover, the team disconnected 22 illegal service lines of jhugies, seized electric gadgets and registered FIRs against defaulters under Section 95 of the J&K State Electricity Regularity Act.
