JAMMU, Feb 27: A delegation of J&K Coordination Committee of Power Employees Unions today called on Chief Engineer, M&RE, JPDCL, Kamal Kishore Thappa and discussed the issues of the employees and workers with him.
Led by Deep Mehra, general secretary of Coordination Committee of Power Employees Unions, along with Manjeet Singh, president Power Employees and Workers Union, Kulbir Singh president JKEEU, Tajinder Dutta general secretary ITI Diploma Holders Union, the members in the delegation projected the pending issues and demands of the Power employees/ workers.
In the review meeting of DLC various issues were discussed which included – 557 posts of daily wagers for regularization/ making permanent, removal of age and qualification bar, and early completion of the documents of these candidates.
DLC chairman discussed these issues of the workers in details with the members. The Committee cleared the DLC for further line of action, so that daily wagers could be regularised. The Coordination Committee extended gratitude to the DLC Chairman for the clearance of the cases.
