KISHTWAR, Jan 29: A deputation of Pahari Development Forum (PDF), Kishtwar, headed by Kartar Singh Rathore today met Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kishtwar and took up various issues and demands with him.
The deputation appealed the DC to get resumed the work on Road connecting Gulabgarh to Machail Paddar, which is standstill due to unknown reasons. They further demanded the DC to intervene personally to resolve the conflict between village Garh and Massu pertaining to the road.
The deputation also pressed for faster distribution of Solar home Lights to the beneficiaries, which is being delayed by no means.
On resumption of road work, the DC told the deputation that the matter has been already communicated to Executive Engineer, PMGSY, Division Kishtwar, for resumption of work without any further delay. He also assured to take up the matter of distribution of solar lights with the concerned authorities.
