SAMBA, July 1: The activists of PDP led by Yash Paul Sharma senior leader of the Party and Pawan Dev its district chief held a demonstration at Vijaypur today in protest against the increasing the rates of food grains by CAPD and demanded its immediate roll back.
The PDP activists shouting slogans against the Government termed it anti poor and pro rich. It alleged that the Coalition Government’s policies had harmed the interests of the poor in the state as the prices of essential commodities as well as the food grains being supplied by CAPD have also touched the sky making it difficult for a common man to make his both ends meet.
They also met tehsildar Samba and gave a memorandum to him.
